Safeguarding your privacy is serious business. When you place an order through the Easy People, Inc. site you are entrusting us with very important financial and personal information, and we understand that you may have concerns about privacy issues on the Internet. Easy People, Inc. feels that protecting the privacy of our customers is one of our most important jobs. Your personal information, although it is shared with Easy People Inc. it still belongs to you. It also helps protect you in the case of a lost or missing receipt, because we can reissue a receipt for your tax purposes. Finally, the storage of personal information helps protect you against credit card fraud, because the records of all transactions are kept for reference in the case of a dispute.

During the course of your order, your credit card information is processed by TD Merchant Services.

• Note: Some banks have been known to hold these authorizations for 7-10 business days. Your funds have not been released to Easy People Inc; they are simply being held in suspense by your bank and will be returned.

The only other circumstances under which we would divulge any personal information to a third party is upon subpoena or order from a legitimate court, police agency, the CRA, or if requested by a credit card issuer in the case of a dispute. In any case, when your information is shared, Easy People, Inc., will demand reasonable assurance that third parties will protect your information in conformity with our privacy practices. Privacy is important to you, and it is important to us.

SALES AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Sale of any equipment on this website is expressly conditioned on your, or if you are a minor child, your legal parent or legal guardian’s agreement to the following terms and conditions. You or your legal parent or legal guardian, are required to read the following before placing an order.

I understand that skateboarding or longboarding can be a hazardous activity. I understand that the use of skateboard or longboard equipment purchased from Easy People, Inc. involves numerous risks of injury and death. Adverse terrain, weather conditions, poorly maintained equipment, the use of drugs or alcohol, and pushing the limits of one’s abilities can increase these risks.

As consideration for the purchase of any equipment from Easy People, Inc. by me or my minor children, I hereby release from any legal liability Easy People, Inc., its owners, agents, and employees from any and all liability for damage and injury or death to myself, my minor children or any other person or property resulting the selection assembly, maintenance or use of such equipment and any claim based upon negligence, breach of warranty, contract or legal theory accepting myself the full responsibility for any and all such damage, injury or death which may result.

I further agree that any and all liability of Easy People, Inc., it’s owners, agents and employees resulting from the selection, assembly, maintenance or use of this equipment shall be limited to the purchase price of any such equipment. I further agree that any suit or other legal proceedings concerning the injury or death from the selection, assembly, maintenance, or use of this equipment may be brought only in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I consent to the jurisdiction and venue of any such court in any such proceeding.

I have carefully read this Agreement and Release of Liability and fully understand its content. I understand that it provides a comprehensive release of liability as to myself, my minor children, if any, and all others to whom I may furnish the equipment. This Agreement and Release of Liability may not be added or altered except by the written agreement assigned by Easy People, Inc.. It is not intended to assert any claim or defense which applicable law prohibits. The specific rights of the parties may vary from Province to Province.

Can I update or correct my personal information?

Your account information is contained within your Easy People, Inc. Profile. You may edit your profile at any time, all you need is your email address and Password. After you log in, you can access your account from the homepage and view, update, and correct your account information.

What are cookies and how does Easy People, Inc. use them?

In our effort to provide you with services customized to your interests, we use cookies to keep and sometimes track information about you. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
